The Adventures of the Little Indian Girl

So, post-election reports are coming as to why the Republicans lost and what they need to do for a come around. Before the ideas flow in, the blame game of course ensues first. And where are all the fingers pointing to? Poor old, Sarah Palin. If you think she is safely tucked back in Alaska think again. It's amazing how she has turned from the messiah to the party to the scapegoat of the party. I don't think she was a great pick, I think it did affect McCain's support. I couldn't see how they could work together when they differed so much on ideas. But to put so much blame on her?! wow. Really. Some are even thinking of her to run in the next elections. If I were her I would jump to the Democratic party. Why not, politics is all about flip-flopping anyway. McCain did it throughout his campaign. Oh the drama that is politics. Instead of daytime soaps, they should just play the behind-the-scene talks.

Anyhow, the leaves have gotten an even more colourful tone today. Of course, the sun is out and that helps a lot. But what a difference 4 days makes!

yes, he won!!!! We went to some bars in DC, just to get the feel, with a fellow friend who recently became a citizen and voted for the first time! We spoke with the locals, and majority we spoke to were Obama supporters. We left about 11pm and heard a lot of cheers for Obama on the way in the metro. We thought he won another state. I was being such a skeptic the whole time, not wanting to get my hopes up on CNN projections!

When we reached home and hubby went to the rest room, I turned on the TV, there he was giving his speech!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a day it has been! What history the country is watching being made! What a movement he has instigated, getting so many to get active in politics, whether his supporters or otherwise.

I really can't believe it! I hope I am not in a dream! Someone just pinch me! 

He has many people's trust in his hands. I hope he takes care of it and does whatever he can! yes we can! 

And in case you didn't get it, OBAMA WON!!!!!!!!!! 

We watched the Presidential debate last night. At some point in the night I lost complete interest. I am for once glad I am not eligible to vote and can tune it all off if I so wish. I want the elections to be over and done with. Will either one coming in, will really make a huge difference? Guess time will tell. Until then, our TV's off!

P.S. and if McCain calls me his friend one more time....it will get beyond annoying!
