So we are on our own. Last night I made pasta & my usual traffic light bellpeppers (red, yellow, & green bell peppers) tomato based spicy sauce. This afternoon it was a simple eggplant dry curry with paratha. Dinner was something different. In the evening sis and I went grocery shopping. Should last us at least a week and half if not more. In it I decided to splurge and get some sundried tomatoes. Oh boy are they expensive! So tonight's dinner we each had half of a sundried tomato in our pita stuffing!

Too bad you can't seen any in this pic. hmmmm....

oh but it was good...

It has been 4 years. They said it was bad for you. Yes, the hairbrush. It was bad for curly heads as it broke up curls. Instead for the last 4 years I have been using my wide-tooth comb. And have enjoyed the curls ever so more. However, my comb for the last three days has been sitting in the gym bag, which I had kept in the car in case I would be able to go on Friday evening. And now the car is about 30km from home - as dad uses it to go to work.

So, far the last three days I have resorted to using the hairbrush. Somehow I have missed it. It just feels so good on the head & the scalp. A function a comb somehow can't fulfill. But they were right my curls don't show as much. But on lazy days when I tie my hair back, a brush would be ever so fun to use!

Not wanting to go out, and getting a reply from [livejournal.com profile] plicease on a question I posed in a recent series of pictures he posted, led me to play around with my camera and a tool that has been offered with the software program i have had for the longest time.

I have seen a lot of photos "stitched" on [livejournal.com profile] clivity's site as well. I also realise that half of the LJ buddies post a lot of pictures. Oh how I enjoy them! Anyhow, that's not the point. I tried out the tool just now. There is still a fair bit of practice that is needed. But oh how fun this can turn out to be!

I give you 180deg view of where I am seated now. I took the picture by just pivoting on my chair! :P I didn't pay that much attention to taking the picture as I just wanted to try the tool!

Remember the moldy wall in my sis's room? Well, they did come and fix it quite some time ago! And then they replaced the mirror on another wall. We can fit our whole family in front and still have room for one more to view!! It's hilarious! Take a look...

Also, am wearing a t-shirt sent over by [livejournal.com profile] cottontimer! I won it in a lucky draw thing she held!! It's the first time I won something! :D It reached today (9th Jan). It was stamped out at the UK Post office on the 3rd Jan, it was stamped in at Sepang Post office (by the international airport - it's first post of entry) on 6th Jan and got to me on the 9th Jan. Air travel is surely impressive! It travels faster over a few thousands of miles than a hundred to my place! :P

But anyhow, Hsien, thank you for the t-shirt! It fits comfortably and nicely! Yes, I am wearing the wrong bottoms for it. But I don't want to display my pajama shorts! :P

now for the mirror )

and now off to bed - after my change of course!
