The Adventures of the Little Indian Girl

It has been quite a journey. I am watching the local news for the first time in the month. It feels so strange hearing about Metro fare hikes and other local issues being brought up. Somehow it all seems to irrelevant to my life at the moment. And yet as Hungry Lion turns a month old, I have all of August planned out and an outing planned when she turns 6 weeks. So, the Metro news seems all the more relevant!

HL's 1 month pediatrician's visit went well. She has put on a healthy weight, is growing well and all other vitals look good. She did however catch a slight cold yesterday and so was cranky on her milestone reached.

She is "smiling" a lot more and responding and/or pitching into our conversations! Oh it's so much fun! Work all comes to a halt at home when it happens!

Yesterday, she finally tolerated being put on her tummy and in one go lifted herself up in a push-up and looked around for over a minute!! And that drained out all her energy! But oh she was so cute! 

As a celebratory note the hospital also sent their bill just reaching us yesterday! Thankfully no surprises!
