Census survey
Apr. 29th, 2010 07:07 pmHubby and I have been bad. We forgot to mail out the census form. One concern I had was whether we should fill it out as we are not citizens here and apparently the census is used to define district lines, representation etc. So, wouldn't that skew some of the results?
Anyhow, today a neighbour down the corridor from us (husband of the mother of three who offered her help once our baby is born) came knocking on our door.
His introduction, "Good afternoon! I know I am your neighbour. However, today I am here representing the US Census." I felt so embarassed and shared that I had the form filled up, all sealed but have been procrastinating to mail it out. Anyhow, since it wasn't done yet he had to come in to ask questions. So, we went through the process of filling out the forms.
What a small world. Even at my OB-GYN office, the registered nurse lives in our building! She also offered help if anything is needed!
