excitement over a cord!

This is silly. But am excited! I am going to be finally getting an adapter that connects the second monitor that someone donated to office! Hopefully it arrives tomorrow if not be the day after. But oh work life will be so much more pleasant! I laugh too, because it reminds me back in college - we would tease our friend who was an IT buff having to need two monitors and he was being spoiled.

Well, umm... almost 20 years later, here I am. Spoiling myself! :P

uggh...somehow ordered the wrong cord. I swear I had picked the right one. ugh. So had to return it. Will get my colleague to order it for me! bah!

I probably don't need the second monitor at work - it's at least 21 inches or even 23inches! But I deal with a lot of excel sheets and multiple files at one time and having a second makes life a little easier - and heck someone donated it. I wouldn't go buy a second one - for me. Maybe for home since it's a smaller one. Freecycle is the place to be!

I find it really hard to work without two monitors now. I'm getting a third for the home office next year. That is the plan anyway.
