winter on the way, fall in the midst...

Apparently winter has arrived for some in the country. So, we decided to get our heads out of the sand and enjoy the "warmth" of fall before it disappears till spring! We had our cups of coffee out in our balcony when it was a balmy 50F. And I could actually do it for good twenty minutes in a light sweater! Hmmmm... maybe I will enjoy the winter this year. Right...this is what I say every year! And come second snow fall and I am all ready to be done! One camp claims it will just mostly rain and another camp that forecasts we will have the biggest snowfall in history. hmm...somehow though I'd much rather a little snow over rain. Rain freezes. No fun. Snow at least, you can play with it a bit.

You are welcome to ignore any whinings and grumbles of snow days to come!

D sweetly asked the other day if winter was over and Spring will arrive? and she is the one who does way better in the cold than me!

That's how it was for us, up until last weekend. We broke 60°. That's unusual for November. And then we got the snowstorm this weekend.
