Teachers are special...
Jan. 7th, 2015 12:12 pmThe last two days, D was just really upset. She was extra clingy and very sad. She just couldn't express what it was! Apparently a kid at school did something she didn't like and it bothered her. She kept changing what the kid was doing that she didn't like. So, that's unclear. The kid's from another class, a younger one and is 2-2.5yo.
I gently asked her if she informed the teacher, a grown-up, about it, since she couldn't figure out what to do? To which she immediatly perked up as if I had made a joke, "Mommy, teachers are not grown-ups, they are special!"
Teachers are special. Can't blame her though. I remember a bunch of us being blown away seeing our high school teachers at a night club (in Singapore, they let you in at 16 but serve alcohol only at 18) or anywhere else really! lol... didn't think that feeling starts so early!
