Happy Diwali!

Jointly N and I made Mysore Pak for the first time in our lives. Now, we are not sure if it's the soft one or the hard/crispy one. Only time will tell, as we await it to cool. ahem.

In the meantime, I eat an almond burfi that we received from a friend for the occasion. With a sweetened mouth, I wish all who celebrate a very happy Diwali!

Definitely should have given it before your marathon run. Oh boy! Never realised how much ghee goes into it!! It turned out like halwa though. But still tastes good.
