Happy Diwali!

Jointly N and I made Mysore Pak for the first time in our lives. Now, we are not sure if it's the soft one or the hard/crispy one. Only time will tell, as we await it to cool. ahem.

In the meantime, I eat an almond burfi that we received from a friend for the occasion. With a sweetened mouth, I wish all who celebrate a very happy Diwali!

Happy Diwali! So how did the Mysore Pak turn out?
I'm in Atlanta right now and I'm missing all the action back home. Especially the sweets!

yep! For some it was Sunday, and for our family it's today! :)

eh.. it turned out like halwa! But my colleagues (Americans and Turkish) are enjoying it, minus all the ghee! heheheh.. it just tastes like Mysore Pak but looks like halwa! sigh

Definitely should have given it before your marathon run. Oh boy! Never realised how much ghee goes into it!! It turned out like halwa though. But still tastes good.

Happy Diwali to you too! I celebrated by eating Indian sweets & attending a large gathering of the local INdian community for Diwali with heaps of good food & dancing on the waterfront.
