The other day I was watching the quarterfinals of Italy vs Spain. I had warned N that if Italy loses I just might cry. But as the game carried on and came to a sad end (Italy lost), not a tear was shed. They played miserably. Actually I hardly call that playing. They just ran around with the ball. Spain rightfully won that evening. So, after 88 years, Spain has beaten Italy in a major football game! What a record broken! Good for them! I saw a headline the other day how Italians were shocked. They really shouldn't be. One wouldn't be if they watched the game. They barely made it through to the quarter finals and completely shot that chance. bummer. hrrmmphhhh... Ole for Spain!

Thats true!! It was quite a boring match. When any team plays defensive, its very boring! Yea, 88 years is a huge time span!! Spain was definitely the better team. But am really sad that Holland didn't make it!! It was a wonderful match, NL vs Russia
