weight and dreams
Jun. 13th, 2008 09:41 amI happened to click on this link that showed up when I logged off Yahoo!Mail and it took me to pictures of celebrities worst dressed for the week thing. Okay...I have been spending many afternoons looking at numbers and houses adverts and needed a mindless activity. This really topped it!
Maybe I missed it in the news as I hardly watch news about celebrities. But I have my doubts. Some of the famous heartthrobs, mine and the general population's of the male species have in the recent years put on many pounds. I mean, many many pounds. I hardly recognized them. I actually didn't recognize them until I read the caption. So, why don't the paparazzi/tabloids give them just as much a hard time as they do when women put on a few pounds here and there?!
okay, I am done asking stupid mindless questions.
I had the strangest dream last night. It involved my sis and I needing to get to my uncle's place. We had to take an auto (auto rickshaw) to their place. The whole dream was about our journey there. It was quite fun actually. The puzzling part was our experience with the auto. Overall, to get to the destination we had to change three autos. In one case, the driver just disappeared and we both waited for a while. Then got out and caught another one! We initially felt guilty cause we hadn't paid the fare. But then, hey, he disappeared and we couldn't wait forever. The third one we caught was such a challenge. No one would agree to go all the way to the place. So, we asked for somewhere in the middle and thought we would get another one there. Well, we couldn't. Then we asked our uncle to come collect us since we were close enough but not close enough to walk. Even my uncle wouldn't come! It was just strange...so the two of us walked the many streets of India (I am not sure what city we were in. I could assume Bangalore cause this particular uncle lives there, but the place looked so different. It somehow was a mix of Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad). But it was a pleasant dream. I woke up feeling so light and happy!
And I made some excellent attukulu upma this morning! yum....
