smittenbyuwhy exactly do people take off their shoes and leave it right in the middle of the door entrance?! Do they think they are the only ones to come in and out of the apartment/house? We had four sales persons representing various moving companies come by to survey the apartment and do their pitch. If I had the choice to pick,I would pick the one who left their shoes on the side and out of the way! I have pretty much been coming and going and hence that is all that I have noticed. Why? Well, the ones who leave it at the side pay attention to details and are considerate somehow, naturally anyhow. But alas, we don't have a say.
But to be fair, the three of the four who did it, are not alone in this country. You go to a big party you can tell who came first and who came later just by the shoe arrangements! I have often had to step over a sea of slippers before I entered the house/apartment. I don't get it.
oh and I caved in and bought two alphonsos (mangos), paid an arm & a leg for it. Am waiting for the sales rep to leave so dad & I can indulge ourselves of it!
