It took Al Gore to win an Oscar for this country to sceen "The Inconvenient Truth"! Part of me wants to go see it and the other part of me doesn't want to get anymore depressed about the subject matter as I already am. People often asked in my undergraduate years how we pulled through such a depressing subject. Where people never gave it much respect or cared and/or laughed or mocked. It was depressing. But we learnt and we learnt and now find ourselves in jobs completely unrelated or in jobs that help businesses build even more, with just a few environmental friendly options. oh yes!

Al Gore might not be the next President of the United States, but it's heartening and just awesome that he finally can do what in his heart he always dreamt of and aspired to do. Oh that feeling must be just amazing! I always feel just so happy when people find work that they just truly enjoy!

I loved (not) the way the media was all "maybe Al Gore will announce he is running for president when he gets the Oscar."

I think he's effected more change by not being president than he would have as president. I think there are some things to be said for not being president!

I don't think you have to see the film for information's sake. You seem pretty informed yourself. ;) What is special though is the way the phenomena are presented. I found the style and especially Gore's commitment convincing. If only he'd become president...
