in a world where you can fake designer goods you would think foodstuff would be spared? No. I had the other day fake ferrero rocher! It came in the Chinese New Year hamper we get from one of our suppliers every year! I had Giuyino rocher (or something like that). And let me tell you. It comes nowhere close to it! It should be illegal! Should not be allowed! An insult, a mockery, blasphemy! Now I need to go get the real thing to forget the impostor! I should go have a talk with the supplier...

You should be in continental US, where they fake all the foods of all countries are bastardized right and left!

the whole world does that really.... they do it here of all the popular American snacks openly found on supermarket shelves down to the colour of packets. of course they are not considered "fake". they are just a cheaper alternative, as was this giyo ferrero. I personally don't care except for this particular food stuff! ;)

The things they an copy never ceases to amaze me.

In December someone in Vietnam was telling me that they are now producing fake motorcycles over there because the market is HUGE. I imagine those fakes will hit KL soon, if they haven't already.
