smittenbyuOh more pictures from 31st December 2006. All these are taken by my friend, HCY and his camera - Olympus X550.
HCY is a patient guy. He waited around for this bee to pass by and land on the flower, which it did and there are a couple of shots of that. But it's not a neat picture and so will spare you! I like the silhouette of this flower with the bee in the "background".
Other flowers & fruits we saw in the market, plantation, and other nurseries we stopped by: (Cameron is known for its flowers, vegetables, tea & fruits. But mostly strawberries. Unfortunately we got cheated by getting extremely sour strawberries. Enough to have our hair stand up when we eat! :X)
Us playing silly as HY drove....
And we made friends with this grasshopper!
This kind of market will be gone in a year or so (if not less) as they have built one with concrete across the road. A few stalls are taken already, and it just doesn't feel the same! But I guess it would be better on the rainy days!
