I look like a local!

This past month I have been asked for directions by several people! D noticed too and kept asking why they asked me. It was a good discussion to have. But really, in the last 8 years here, I have been asked for directions this past month! Sometimes I am alone and sometimes I am with D. But something about me finally looks like I am from here? hmmmm...

And I always without fail get IDed when I get alchohol. But not when I am with D!! It's hilarious. There will be women and men at the other counters getting carded for a bottle of wine or 6-pack of beer. But not me. My daughter is my ID of being 21+ it seems. hmmm....

Someone on our floor put on a beautiful perfume and I can't seem to get it off me. Got my watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing atchoos going and a shower and it's still there. sigh. I never have reacted to perfumes this way. Blame it on daylight savings and loss of sleep. bleah. I have to remember that D adjusts to it a week later. So, for now I am going to look at the positive and bask in the glory of peaceful evenings!
