May photo Day!

Great! I am hooked! But likely will be the last month for a while I can try one of these photo memes. It's posted on my FB and copied over here for posterity. Can find out about the May Photo a Day 2014 and maybe some of you will join!

Photo a Day 1-4 (left to right)

Day 1: Starting with letter J
My friend headed to Albuquerque (New Mexico) with her hubby to visit his alma mater. No visit to Albuquerque is complete till a visit to Frontier restaurant! They have the best commercially made tortillas I have ever tasted! Oh so yummy!! If Southwest Airlines ever has big discounts to flying again, we are going!! But for now, our friend brought us over some. So, of course, it requires Jalapenos to go in the stuffing!

In the fall the Alumni does ship over a ton of NM green chillis and salsa too! We need to go to one of them soon!

Day 2: Snack
I have stopped snacking. Usually D's leftover lunch becomes my snack, if she doesn't finish. Although these past few weeks it's become a rare thing!

Day 3: Collection
D's birthday present to herself! A collection of farm animals!

Day 4: Us
We are down with flu. Been a miserable week. Today we needed to get out of the house and get some fresh air. And so we spontaneously packed our picnic blankets and headed to Gravelly Point park by the national airport to watch the planes fly right over us! It's amazing how just seeing planes flying overhead brings such excitement to all ages! Never tires! The place was packed as it was our first true picnic-friendly weekend of spring!
