India's energy dependence

I was going to go to this seminar on "Assessing India's Growing Dependence on Energy Resources Abroad" but I got a call for scheduling an interview! yay! woo hoo! yeep! So, umm that delayed my departure and I ended up watching it broadcasted live on the web.

So, what's the conclusion? Going by what they shared, my parents will continue to suffer power outages on a nearly daily bases for several hours a day! People who can afford it will be continuing to run their backup generators for some time to come! sigh. But it doesn't mean that it's the end of all hopes. The work being done needs working and time to get done!

I am just happy that I landed an interview, albeit for a volunteer position (for now)!
