the little things that count...

I saw an image going around FB amongst my Indian friends living in India and almost ignored it as some bogus story. But today I found multiple articles in various media outlets also available. Small step. But a big thing. Maybe Indian courts will come back to their senses. Sigh.

Something is wrong with our connection and it’s not linking:

  1. I am just an average Indian mom—and I want to find a husband for my son - http://qz.com/409581

  2. Mother seeks groom for her son in India's first gay personals advert : http://tinyurl.com/mszdg58

It's a crime India to be a homosexual? Wow!

I was just watching a documentary last night with Stephen Fry, and part of it was in India. The documentary was about how different countries accept those who are gay, it was very interesting , but it was there that I learned about the supreme court decision of 2013....such a step back.
