For one, the compatibility issues were getting smaller. But it seems like the small stuff is getting annoying. We also wanted to try something new. Learn something new.
Mac is great for those who are in design/movie making field. So much better than a PC. I make a lot of movies to share with family and it's far better and easier to use than Windows Movie Maker - am forever cursing it. And it's so much faster and fewer bugs than a PC. I love it for that! I turn on the Mac and it's running and ready to use in less than a minute! Not so on my hubby's brand new HP. OK... I am spoilt.
But majority of us don't use the Mac to its full capacity. I don't either. So, yeah, I don't get the whole craze, blind loyalty behind the brand either.
WebOS might be better (I have no clue, never heard of it..or maybe I did but don't know) but if not enough people are making stuff for it, well, what's the incentive to get it? It's the which comes first question. I would have really liked a blackberry. I like my buttons and am annoyed at this whole touch screen... Or at least I would like the option for either or. call me old fashioned in that sense but since RIM is in trouble and I buy a phone like once in 4 odd years, I need something that will still be around. So, a Samsung! :)
I have an incomprehensible/inexplicable loyalty to Samsung too... no reason why. I just always liked their phones better. Samsung got me with the flip phones compared to the boring Nokia back in college.... and it stuck.
There was a book I wanted to read ... you might like it too..on this very subject. Understanding the human mind and the decision making process. I thought I had bookmarked it but I didn't. Hope to find the title soon!
