So, I shared with hubby how I wish we had a laptop, so I could work in our balcony. Seeing that I was all sad about it, to make me feel better he is sitting out in the balcony working on his laptop doing his work. right... I don't think it works that way. right. I guess when this computer finally conks out, hope it's not for many more years, we will be getting a laptop!! ha!
But am feeling good after a very long time! The cold finally cleared. The throat still feels rough but better than yesterday! Yesterday, I walked 3 miles before picking D up and today went for a quick jog (on the treadmill). And at home instead of walking, I was doing lunges up and down the corridor... D thought it was hilarious and now it's the thing! Never imagined I would be the one to start a trend! OK.. I know, it's just my girl doing it... but let me dream.
And I can do all this because am working from home this week.
And I'd better keep that exercise going because we came home from Mikaila's home the other day with a whole bottle of homemade ghee!!! She wanted to trade ghee with Dosa batter. Oh wow!! My mom used to make ghee from the cream she collected from the fresh milk delivered home and the house would fill with fresh aromas. Mom stopped making ghee at home because well, Amul makes it well enough. And so you forget the little details. This bottle, when you open it up, the aroma of ghee comes back and you do want to grab that spoon and lick it up!! You never want to do that when you open up a new can of Amul (or any other brand) Ghee... yum yum! It's so timely because it will be great for all the Diwali cooking!! Can't wait!
